31 January 2014  |

The rumor has spread out around the globe, and we are now proud to make it official: Cameron Cole is joining the Commencal Riding Addiction team for 2014!

We can already see some of you guys smiling for Cam COLE’s last appearance in 2013 was last July at the Vallnord World Cup in Andorra. Cam had crashed very badly and had to be evacuated by helicopter. For 2014, the New Zealander creates the buzz by joining the Riding Addiction team for which COMMENCAL is the main sponsor.

Everyone is surfing on this refreshing news, and we can’t contain our joy to welcome this new rider. Welcome to you Cam!

Cam COLE’s first reaction:
“I am really thankful for the support and effort Thibaut and COMMENCAL have gone through to get the deal done with me for this year. It was a truly last minute thing and it's come together really well. I'm stoked to be able to have the opportunity to race for Riding Addiction. I think it's going to be a fun year with new faces and different challenges.”

Thibaut RUFFIN, team manager of COMMENCAL Riding Addiction comments:
“It's been a couple of seasons we wanted to give a more "international" aspect to the team, when Cam approached me a few weeks ago, he was definitely the rider who could perfectly fit in what we were looking for. He's a great guy with incredible riding skills, we couldn't expect for a better rider and team mate. It's going to be a really exciting season with a really strong line up in the team and we are all looking forward to get back racing and bring to all our riders the keys to achieve their goals.

A huge thanks to all the team partners for making this possible and allowing us to chase our dreams:
COMMENCAL Bicycles, BOS MTB, Novatec, HT Components, Renthal, Sram, Fox Head, Maxxis, Gamut USA, Morgaw, Avid, Lezyne, Five Ten, Mortop, GoPro, CN Spokes, Compressport, Goodman Cycles, Punch Power, Forbike Underwear, Squirtlube.”

Max COMMENCAL:
“I don’t know why, but I sense some riders more than others. Cam belongs to this category. Plus, his style will be perfectly matching the spirit of our bikes. We go big! We aren’t here to waste our time! I’m very happy for Thibaut (RUFFIN) as well. He puts a lot of work into it, and this growing power is a big reward for him.”
